Starting a Juicing Fast on Saturday!

Well I have known for a while now that I would be doing a Juicing Fast. I have been waiting until my body was ready. I am on my 53rd day of eating a Raw Vegan Diet. I have spent the last few weeks primarily drinking Green Smoothies and fresh fruit and veggie juice. Along with 3-4 liters of water a day. I have been doing this to get my body ready for a juicing fast. I was looking around yesterday at some blogs..Blog surfing you might say..and I found a girl that was going to be doing a 92 day juice fast...I followed the link on her page and found a wonderful surprise...

A 92 day Global Feast!

I don't have to juice feast alone...I love that this is organized so people that are considering juice fasting don't have to do it alone.Support and fellow juicers.. I am really excited about doing my Juice Fast now. I am mentally preparing myself now. I am going to keep track of my progress by doing video posts so everyone can see my transformation. I found that watching other peoples videos really made an impact on me. I am shy, but I feel like this is important. Sharing health, love and as much info as possible to those who need help is my primary mission.

If I can do it..so can you!

  3. David Rainoshek really knows his stuff and keeps it safe and healthy for all those involved.

Will look forward to your vlogging the experience. Is your intention to do the whole 92 day feast?

    Enjoy! Cheers!

  4. The global juicefeast model is what I used in the fall when I fasted for 45 days (my first real fast - other than the odd day here or there). I really liked the "at least 4+L of juice each day, as well as 2L of water". I couldn't BELIEVE how many greens I was consuming - 4 heads or bunches a day! Amazing. (our local organic farm thought I was going a little crazy asking for greens constantly! lol) But I had amazing results. Learning to love dark leafy greens has been a great boost to my health. I can't imagine a day without them. I'm having green smoothies daily at the moment - later this year I will do a juice feast again, not sure for how long. I'm waiting until fall when harvest season is at its peak - so I can mix my greens with fresh apples and ginger. mmmmm.
Good luck with your fast; you'll do GREAT!!!

  5. consider picking up a copy of Angela Stokes book, A Juicefeaster's Handbook, if you haven't already got it (either in print or e-book). It will give you some wonderful support. Check out www.rawreform.com her website.

  8. Maybe I need to read more deeply into your blog. Its not clear to me why anyone would do this, why anyone would take such evident pleasure in anticipating doing this?

From your sidebar and the other comments on your site, its clear that a lot of people are interested and follow the same practice. Its ust not something I've come on before.

  9. LOL, I may sound crazy Barry, but I am doing this for my health. I have an auto immune disease that has taken over my life for the past 16 years. I have struggled with finding the right way of either dealing with it and being in pain constantly..or educating myself and taking the necessary steps to bring my body back to health and balance. It has taken me a long time..and many different natural supplements, and medical prescriptions later...I have finally found the solution..and I can't wait to bring myself back to health and share my experience with others that are suffering as well.
